Parenting Is Planting Seeds You May Not See Yet

Parenting is often described as a journey, but sometimes it feels more like gardening. You plant, water, nurture, protect, and patiently wait. You may not always see the results right away, but that does not mean growth isn't happening.

Every time you teach your child to say “thank you,” you are planting a seed of gratitude. Every time you encourage them to try again after making a mistake, you are planting a seed of perseverance.
